Driving Directions: Our location in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains makes the Roanoke Valley easy to reach from any direction. Learn more about where Virginia's Blue Ridge is located and how to get here by automobile.

Air Travel: The Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport provides quality air service to visitors who are traveling to the region by plane. Air service is available through four major airline carriers via eight international airports. The airport is less than 5 miles from Downtown Roanoke and easily accessible to many of the great outdoor opportunities in the region.

Take the train: The Amtrak platform is located in Downtown Roanoke and it is the southernmost stop along the Northeast Regional route, providing easy access to Virginia's Blue Ridge from Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York, and Boston on a beautiful ride through the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains.

Rental Cars: With a variety of car rental companies, you'll have no trouble securing a vehicle during your time in the Roanoke Valley. These companies are located throughout the region, making it easy to pick up and drop off a vehicle.

Parking: There is limited self-serve and valet parking at the conference venue. For other options, explore this map with information regarding times, rates, and lots where parking is available to the general public.

Public Transit: Virginia's Blue Ridge is easy to reach by bus, and the public bus system makes it easy to get around within the area. Learn more about the local transit system and shuttle services that are offered for the airport and nearby Amtrak station. The Smart Way Bus connects the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport to other points of interest in Virginia's Blue Ridge, including Downtown Roanoke, Virginia Tech, and the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute. Tickets for the Smart Way Bus are $4 cash (exact change).
