ESC Grants Program
Post-Awardee Deliverable Expectations

Congratulations on your awarded proposal! We look forward to receiving your post-award deliverable 30 days after the project end date, or by July 31, 2025, whichever occurs first.

Deliverables may be shared on the ESC website, at ESC events, or archived to share in the future.

There are two deliverable submission options. Awardees are only required to submit their deliverable through one of the two options. However, awardees who wish to complete both deliverables are welcome to do so.

The deliverable options are as follows:

  • Create a 1-page brief sharing the impact of the funded project.

OR

  • Create a 2-minute video recording sharing the impact of the funded project.

Suggested elements to include in your deliverable

  1. Project Overview: Provide a brief overview of your project, including its objectives, significance, and goals.
  2. Achievements and Outcomes: Summarize the achievements and outcomes of your project. Highlight any new insights, results, or impact on the target issue or community.
  3. Challenges Faced: Describe any challenges, obstacles, or unexpected issues encountered during the project and how you addressed them.
  4. Financial Reporting: Provide a financial summary, detailing how the awarded funds were utilized. Include a breakdown of expenses and budget compliance.
  5. Timeline Adherence: Discuss whether your project adhered to the proposed timeline and milestones. Explain any deviations, if applicable.
  6. Partnerships and Collaboration: Share your experiences working with partners and stakeholders. Highlight any significant collaborations and the impact on your project.
  7. Dissemination of Findings: Describe how project findings were disseminated to stakeholders, the community, or the broader audience. Include any relevant publications, presentations, or outreach activities.
  8. Future Plans: Outline any future plans related to the project, sustainability, or further advancements.

Create a 2-minute video recording sharing the impact of the funded project.

The following prompts should be used to design your 2-minute video recording.

  1. What is your name and affiliation?
  2. Who are the partners who participated in your project?
  3. What was the purpose of your project?
  4. How will ESC funds support your project?
  5. What are the next steps for your project?

This recording does not need to be professionally made (for example, iPhone videos or Zoom recordings are fine)!

We do ask that you speak slowly and clearly to ensure good audio quality with no background noise. Please refrain from reading off of a script. We also ask if you do record using an iPhone/phone, please turn the phone horizontally and record using the landscape mode (not portrait mode). Recordings should be less than 7 minutes long.

Here is an example where we had students answer a prompt in a recording, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWLRyP0Jg9k. This is a great example of a simple background, speaking clearly, and their distance from the camera.

Please email your recording to Dr. Daniela Susnara (dsusnara@ua.edu) 30 days after the project end date, or by July 31, 2025, whichever occurs first.

If the file is too large, please download it to Google Drive or Box and share the link with Daniela Susnara.
