ESC Awards Program
Nomination Procedures and Process

The 2025 Call for Nominations will end on April 4, 2025.

Application materials will be reviewed by ESC member institution representatives and award recipients will be notified by end of May.

Award Categories: The following categories are open for nomination or application: Excellence in Community Partner Engagement; Excellence in Faculty Community Engagement; Excellence in Outreach and Engagement Professional Community Engagement; Excellence in Student Community Engagement; and Distinguished Dissertation.

The Hiram E. Fitzgerald Distinguished Engaged Scholar Award and the Ryan Moser Reilly Institutional Leadership are selected by the ESC Executive Committees and are not open for nomination or application.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Note: If you are a new user to the OpenWater system, you must register to create a new account in order to submit a nomination. Select "Register" at the bottom of the screen and follow the instructions. Once your account is created and verified, select "Awards Nomination" in the navigation, fill out the form and press "Save and Finalize".

If you submitted a proposal, grant or nomination, OR attended the conference in 2024, your OpenWater account will still be active. To reset your password, use the 'forgot password' link.
