A distinguished panel will offer observations about how engaged universities address the related issues of professional development and institutional leadership in efforts aimed at creating contexts generative and supportive of community-engaged scholarship and university partnerships. Insights and recommendations will be offered from the perspectives of a university president, a university chief outreach and engagement leader, and the founder of an award-winning professional development program on community engagement.
