Engaged Scholarship Consortium Research/Creative Activities Grant Program 2019

Engaged scholarship involves asset oriented, mutually beneficial partnerships between university personnel and community organizations. The work is co-planned, co-implemented and co-assessed and may lead to social change.  The recipients or their representatives of our first Engaged Scholarship Grant program will present their work in progress during this session.

The recipients are:

Neena Xavier, University of Alabama, Birmingham:  Service Learning to assess medical decision making at an interprofessional homeless clinic

Elena, Foulis, Ohio State University, Performing ourselves:  Community conversations on loss, gain, acceptance and belonging
