6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Mill City Museum
704 South 2nd St., Minneapolis, MN 55401
An architectural showpiece on the Mississippi Riverfront, Minneapolis’ Mill City Museum rises eight stories within the ruins of the Washburn A Mill, a national historic landmark that was once the country’s largest flour mill.
Your Engagement Scholarship Consortium (ESC) conference admission gains you access to the museum’s award-winning exhibits which intertwine the history of the flour industry, the Mississippi River, and the city of Minneapolis. Highlights include an eight-story elevator tour back in time, a screening of Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat!, a baking lab filled with delicious aromas, and a water lab demonstrating the power of the mighty St. Anthony Falls. The museum’s gift store, Mill Ruins Park, and observation deck with stunning views of downtown Minneapolis will also be open to ESC conference attendees.
