Grouping Posters
Poster layout will be arranged by the ESC’14 Program Committee. At setup, you will be notified regarding your poster's number and location when entering Hall C. Please hang your poster at your poster number.
Poster Size
We will provide poster boards that are 8 feet wide and 4 feet high. You are encouraged to make appropriate use of this space, but posters should not exceed 4 feet waide and 3 feet tall.
Poster Reception/Presentation
At least one author is expected to stand by your poster during the formal Poster Reception on Tuesday, October 7th, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, ready to answer questions and discuss the work with conference attendees.
Poster Symposia
There will be a total of four poster symposia held over the course of the two-day conference. Each poster symposium includes posters organized around a common topic, but representing a variety of studies, projects, and perspectives. If your poster is selected for one of the symposia, you will be notified regarding the date, time, and topic of your poster symposium session.
Posters included in the Poster Symposia sessions will set up and tear down at the same time as the general posters and will be expected to attend the Poster Reception as well.
Symposia Format
Posters will be presented during the first 20 minutes of each poster symposium. At least one presenter should be standing by your poster during this time, ready to answer questions and discuss the work with conference attendees. After 20 minutes, a session convener will call the symposium portion to order and facilitate an interactive 30- minute discussion between the attendees and a panel comprised of the primary presenters of the posters.
