Jennifer M. (Jenna) Lujan has served the University of Texas - El Paso (UTEP) and its Center for Community Engagement for over 18 years. As director, she focuses on promoting the University's academic-based community engagement mission and connecting students, faculty, and staff with the community. Ms. Lujan has extensive eexperience in managing grant-funded projects and programs, building and maintaining community partnerships, and implementing student high-impact practices. In addition to her work as Director, she teaches a Political Science course called "Leadership and Civic Responsibility," through which she engages her students with community organizations. Ms. Lujan holds M.Ed. and B.A. degrees from UTEP.
