Marina Denny

Marina Denny serves as Associate Vice Provost of Engagement within the Division of Extension and Engagement at Oregon State University, where she leads university-wide efforts to institutionalize community engagement and engaged scholarship. This includes supporting faculty development efforts and transdisciplinary research, and promoting greater collaboration and integration across colleges and divisions while engaging community partners and stakeholders in developing reciprocal and mutually beneficial solutions to real-world issues. In her more than 20 years working for land grant universities, Marina Denny has led diverse teams, managed community volunteers, facilitated strategic planning endeavors and collaborated with peers and senior leadership to identify policy changes and training needs. She earned her Ed.D.in organizational leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and holds both an M.A.Ed. in environmental education curriculum and instruction and a B.S. in wildlife ecology and conservation from the University of Florida.
