As Assistant Vice President for Engagement and Outreach, Tim Steffensmeier provides strategic administration and leadership to support and advance engagement activity across the Kansas State University. Professor Steffensmeier previously served as department head of communication studies and as director of Third Floor Research, an applied research partnership between the Kansas Leadership Center and the Staley School. He holds a master's degree in communication from Wake Forest University and a Ph.D in communication studies from University of Texas - Austin.
