Registration Fees

Full conference: Includes program materials, two breakfasts, two lunches, receptions, and all refreshment breaks. Preconference workshops may be added at an additional cost.

One day of full conference: Limited package includes program materials, one breakfast, one lunch, receptions, and refreshment breaks for either Wednesday or Thursday of the conference. Preconference workshops may be added at an additional cost.

Preconference only: You will only be attending the preconference workshop you have selected. Meals vary depending on workshop.

Late Registration: Beginning September 19, 2023, registrations will be considered late and assessed an additional $30 fee. Registration closes completely September 30, 2023.

Walk-ins: All participants must be registered and paid by September 30. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: You may cancel your registration and get a full refund without penalty if you let us know about your change in plans no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023. If you cancel by September 18, 2023, half of the registration will be refunded. If you cancel any time after September 18, 2023, you will not receive a refund. All refund requests must be made in writing to Julie Crowgey at crowgeyj@msu.edu. ESC regrets that refunds will not be provided to people who register but do not attend the conference (no-shows).

Substitutions: Substitution of registrations will be permitted at no charge until September 18, 2023, by notifying Julie Crowgey at crowgeyj@msu.edu.

Special Offer for ESC Member Institutions: Institutional Packages

Member institutions of the Engagement Scholarship Consortium may request special discounts of:

  • $20 per registration for groups of 5 or more pre-paid registrations or
  • $40 per registration for groups of 10 or more pre-paid registrations.

Institutional packages must be purchased and paid for in full before discount codes will be distributed to purchasers. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to provide the codes to individual registrants.

To request an institutional package, please email Julie Crowgey (crowgeyj@msu.edu) with the following information:

  1. Purchaser contact information, including: name, title, name of member institution, business address, phone number, and email address
  2. Number of people in the group

Once the information is reviewed, the purchaser will be sent an invoice for payment. Payment must be received within 30 days. Payment in full is required before discount codes will be distributed. After payment is received, the registration link and discount codes will be sent to the purchaser. We recommend that purchasers distribute the link and codes to allow individual members of their groups to register themselves. Each individual is required to create a user account with the ESC registration system in order to register for the conference and use the discount code provided.
