President, Dickinson College
Recognized for her leadership in global education, Margee Ensign serves as Dickinson College’s 29th president. For seven years she served as President of the American University of Nigeria (AUN) and also led the Adamawa Peace Initiative. As a well-renowned published scholar, Ensign’s work specializes in the challenges of international development and implications of development assistance. She was awarded the 2011 African Leadership Award in Educational Excellence, granted by London-based African Leadership Magazine. Ensign has written for The Washington Post, is a blogger for The Huffington Post, and has presented her research at the World Economic Forum.
